In the paper the basic methods of introduction used by the Botanical garden of the Kuban Agrarian University in introduction or reintroduction of plants are presented, the main principles of the evolution-ecological approach to an assessment of resistance of different taxons, considering the activity of their physiological-biochemical processes, are stated and also their reaction to various factors of pressure; problems in application of methods of horizontal and vertical introduction in the practical work of the Botanical Garden are considered.

The problem has been regarded of quantitative evaluation of hydromorphous ecosystems’ contribution into production of carbon-containing greenhouse gases (CO2 and CH4) on the example of Backcharskoe bog of West-Siberian lowland. The fact has been discovered of local moisture unsaturation of peat layer and leading concernment of convection streams in transporting the greenhouse gases from soil to the atmosphere. By full watering of upper layers, at the distances of 30-50 cm and lower the gaseous substances’ accumulations are appeared in the bog with air-carried porosity up to 15-20%. Being by pressure of upper water layer, these gases are capable of periodically coming out by powerful local streams, which exceed values of background gaseous emission in 2-6 times (evaluated by the traditional chamber method). The other important constituent of convection mass transfer of gases in bog is their lateral transporting in soluble state. Thus, if not taking into account the structural organization of peat soils as physical object and endogen biophysical accumulation processes, as well as inter-phase interactions of convection and diffusion transporting of greenhouse gases, the traditional ecological evaluation and monitoring of gaseous function by chamber method are of little use, as they can understate the real contribution of the bog into greenhouse effect on the given territory in several times.

The content has been investigated of organochlorine pesticides, oil products in flood soils of the river Ponura basin. The plots have been found with contaminations, which are regarded as ecologically unsuccessful. Microflora and the basic microbiological processes have been studied in soils of the river basin. Vegetation of the basin has also been studied and plants have been determined having the highest cumulative properties towards organochlorine pesticides. The steps have been proposed on decreasing the anthropogenic compression on flood soils of the river basin.
