The analysis is given of development of Alpine genus of the family Gentianaceae Juss. In its system various relicts are analyzed and phenomena of endemism and vicarism are regarded. Gentian-worts of different regions are characterized with a strong genus similarity and species differentiation in different regions of their spreading.

During 1972-2007 it was studied the specific structure of Lepidoptera fauna of Rostov region: Rhopalocera group and greatest families of Heterocera group. The total  number of collected specimens is 784. Hypothetical reconstruction of Lepidoptera fauna stages formation in Pleistocene and Holocene was carried out. In a process of alternation glacial and interglacial ages it was formed boreal element of regional fauna, which dominates now. Mediterranean zoogeography complex of species was formed in holocene. It was detected a fact of significant changes in the fauna of Lepidoptera, having place during XX century. Concentration of the greatest biovariety, especially zonal steppe elements on a small plots of entomological refuges is characteristic for the region.

On the example of the Belorechensk Chemical Plant the problems are considered of chemical manufacture impact on the surrounding landscapes. The main attention is paid to the analysis of phosphogypsum as the basic solid waste while production of phosphorus fertilizers, its composition and impact on the landscape systems.
