The problems are analyzed of inventory (issue passports) and recovery of urban soil resources with regard to the conditions of Moscow. Taking into account criterion-normative base, which has been earlier described, a pilot version of automated information system (AIS) has been developed for the purposes of making a soil resources inventory, regarding the specific land ownership, and for taking administrative decisions on their recovery, by using modern technologies. The specific examples show the results of AIS testing in resource evaluation of Moscow land plots’ soils and choice of op-timal technologies of their cultivation and remediation including estimated cost.

The tasks of ecological estimation of the important components of soil resources - urban soils - are re-garded in the present work. The system of criteria and norms has been proposed which is differentiat-ed by soil's properties and soil's belonging to different urban functional zones. The system is scientifi-cally grounded and it is based on federal and municipal soil's quality standards and on allowable lev-els of con-lamination. New resource indexes have been introduced, such as stores of contaminants in soil and stores of chemical elements good for plants. Thus, it allows adequate estimation of complex and heterogeneous urban soil objects up to 1 m of soil layer, in compliance with the new municipal law.

It has been analyzed the species variety and population density of fauna in recreationally transformed beechen biogeocenoses of Russian Black Sea coastline. The dependence has been found from the type of beechen biogeocenosis, size of recreational load, stand composition and structure.

The impact is analyzed of recreational loads upon the population density and root productivity of cherry-laurel, box, azalea and rhododendron undergrowth in recreational beechen biogeocenoses of Russian Black Sea coastline. The dependences are found of undergrowth parameters from the size of recreational load, the type of beechen biogeocenosis, structure of stand, its composition and crown density.
